For many it is. It’s a time for re-charging our batteries. Eating and drinking too much. Not doing much exercise. Watching repeats we’ve seen a thousand times (feels like!) and of course laughing and joking with family and friends.
But for some, it’s a time of isolation and loneliness. A time of year when there is no familiar routine of work. Often a time of dread.
As always, keep an eye on those around you. Be mindful of that ‘change’ and break the loneliness and isolation they are feeling. The true spirit of Christmas is being there for others – not spending the most money on credit cards!
