Lisa’s Paradise ………
At the start of Growing Talent, everyone writes a ‘postcard to themselves’ in their manual. The key reason for this is to have a goal to work towards – especially on those cold mornings or when there’s a train strike on when it’s particularly difficult getting up to go to, at that stage, unpaid job!
After a particularly awful few years in which Lisa had exhausted herself supporting close family members, winding-up her design business and supporting her local community, Lisa was focussed on securing a steady job which would enable her to take her son on holiday – ‘somewhere hot’ where they could just relax! As you can see from the feature photo of the view from Lisa’s villa – she made it!
She also sent a picture of her new best friend – ‘he doesn’t talk back’!!!
Apart from find a new friend, Lisa had breakfast with the Orangutans, fed elephants and hung out with Leemas – does it get any better?????
Now back at work as Event Co-Ordinator with the Baxter Storey team at an account in Tooley Street – I bet it doesn’t feel like she’s been away!
Summing up her holiday as ‘Paradise’ Lisa can reflect on some great experiences and scenery when it is cold, damp and depressingly grey here in London!
