Team Portico!

14/10/2015

On arrival at PwC More London, I went straight to the Client Lounge to meet up with Rehana & Michal.  Michal has supported many Growing Talent Associates on their journey into employment.

Rehana explained her role, what she has learnt over the past five weeks, her flexibility in supporting the team with events and the huge potential in a future career with Portico!  Very enthused with an infectious smile, Rehana is really enjoying her time on Growing Talent.

Then we were joined by Julie – Portico’s Account Director for PwC with national responsibility and a team of over 100 staff, Julie is a huge advocate of Growing Talent.  Jacq was also over to learn the processes at More London.  She’s on Growing Talent based at Embankment Place usually but loved the trip over to More London.

Jacq is still enthused and focussed on her dream return to corporate reception work after years in retail.  Julie explained the robust Mystery Shopper scenarios Portico’s team are scored against.  This has bred a healthy competitive spirit amongst the sites!

Julie shared the mobilisation project she is overseeing in Leeds with a new facility going live next year.  This involves a huge transition of ‘mind, body and spirit’ of the staff.

Due to his knowledge, professionalism and passion, Michal has just been made Senior Team Leader and will be supporting Julie and the team locally on a successful implementation of the new Leeds office…………

After Michal and Julie had to go, Rehana, Jacq and I put the world to rights – quite literally!
