………. Getting a job direct!

Debbie applied for Growing Talent 12, got through all the selection processes to come and meet me.

Articulate, well presented and travelled she was bored having been made redundant a few months ago from a large property management company.  There she managed the office for over 70 people and had great customer interaction skills.

Unfortunately, all the employers at the speed dating event didn’t have the  right role for Debbie.

Then I heard of a permanent role with a front of house organisation and put her forward.  She got it and starts permanent employment imminently.

The moral of this tale is – never think something isn’t worth going to.  Go with an open mind, talk to people you never know who they know and what might come of it! Opportunity is all around us……
