Dan made it……….!
06/11/2017

As a graduate, Dan left university full of enthusiasm but not quite sure which direction to go in job wise. Whilst doing work experience at his local JobCentre Plus, he impressed the team and was encouraged to apply for Growing Talent. Although a little nervous, Dan’s friendly nature and good sense of humour saw Portico select Dan to join them on Growing Talent.
A slightly nervous Dan at the start of he Orientation Week………
What a contrast once Dan had been on site a few weeks! See below top right with Jamie, Jacq & Krupi…
At the start of Growing Talent 8, one of Dan’s ambitions was to tour Canada but of course you need money to do that!
Part of the preparation is to get in the routine of saving regularly and setting attainable goals with an overall, long-term plan.
Dan has worked at PwC’s Embankment Place site since completing Growing Talent with the Portico team as a Welcome Host. He is now highly confident, very professional and tells everyone about Growing Talent! – a great ‘cheerleader’.
On visiting the site recently, I was greeted by Dan who had just come back from his short tour of Canada! He had achieved his target – now to set another one!
