Day 5 – our final day…..
Welcome to our newly accredited I-Act Managers – who completed their Managing and Promoting Positive Mental Health and Wellbeing today.
Learning how to practice self-care to build resilience, be mindful of personal boundaries whilst validating and empathising with others in emotional pain and self-stigmatising is a critical skill in the workplace.
After a robust week of intensive workshops, what are Shari and Abbas’s thoughts?
“This week has been extremely helpful and fun. My mindset is positive and I am ready to go into my new workplace and give my best to everything I do.”
“Before the I-Act course, I was ignorant to a lot of things. Now I can help myself and others. The manual is great – I can keep referring back to it”
“The Growing Talent journey book – I love it! I’ve already started using some of the information myself and on my family. This book is an amazing toolkit and it will take me a long way.”
“This whole process opens your mind to so much. I’m prepared mentally for work now.”
“My quote for anyone thinking of doing Growing Talent, just do it. It’s one of the best things you can possibly do for yourself because it will take you a long way.”
“A massive thank you. You have helped me in unimaginable ways”
After such an intensive week, Shari and Abbas definitely need the weekend to reflect and practice their self-care before the heady whirl of employment begins for them.
A fabulous week! I love my job!
