Emotional Intelligence Focus


At Growing Talent we put as much importance on soft skills like behaviour impact as well do on hard skills. Hard skills need to be adapted in every role change. Example – if trained on one system in an accountancy practice, you may need re-training to use different equipment when moving to a new employer. By contrast, soft skills don’t change. Our behaviours and the impact we have on others is a constant.

Emotional Intelligence assessments are excellent development tools. The process reveals gaps in how we think we show up and how we really show up in others’ experience. Once these are revealed, coaching and exploration identifies development areas to close those gaps leading to more productive behaviours and growth all round.
