Farewell Mehmet……………..

A sad yet really happy final coffee with Mehmet today  as he embarks on his next adventure.  After 1.5 years with Mitie following completion of Growing Talent 6 he’s decided to seize the opportunity to move to the next challenge.

As a young graduate Mehmet joined Growing Talent with a passion for the environment and a hunger to work but not really knowing what he wanted to do.  This together with his integrity and empathy for others saw not only his selection by Mitie’s management but also strong bonds form with his peers.

Since completing Growing Talent, Mehmet has regularly returned to recommend and support the programme………………

Along with Camilla & Will, Mehmet shared his journey on Growing Talent with a room full of Job Centre Plus senior managers from across London and the Home Counties to encourage them to understand and refer the right people to the programme.  A daunting prospect for seasoned managers but not for these guys!

On subsequent Orientation Weeks, Mehmet has given his time to encourage those following him to embrace the opportunity and answer any questions/reassure any fears they had………….

It isn’t often you meet someone with such compassion and empathy, who is always willing to put others first and work hard – even when it’s outside their comfort zone.  Mehmet is an amazing advertisement for the calibre of talent employers can secure through Growing Talent.  Those not recruiting through the programme are missing a trick.

As for Mehmet it’s clear he will enjoy many adventures ahead and rise to any opportunity that falls his way.
