Friday 13th – was it lucky for some?….

Growing Talent has run for over six years – but only in London. Today was our first venture outside the capital to Birmingham.

Employers taking a leap of faith and recruiting via Growing Talent instead of their traditional methods included:

Hosted by Anna and Frank at JobCentre plus in Broad Street. Seven fabulously talented unemployed people were selected for the second stage employer meetings schedule for 17 and 18 March.

Iconic buildings like Birmingham Central Library above have sprung up showing the vitality of the City centre.

Unfortunately, the unforeseen escalation of the impact of Coronavirus saw this Birmingham pilot cancelled. Hopefully it will run later in the year.

Our thanks to everyone involved for their interest and support. Whilst it’s disappointing for those shortlisted to not be able to go forward, it’s a massive boost to their confidence that they were selected. Employers can see the talent within.
