Growing Talent 22 has begun!

It’s strange to reflect on Growing Talent which recently passed its 5 year anniversary. Verifiable statistics stand at 204 people who have been selected by employers for a place on the programme. Of these 148 have completed and gone into permanent employment.

10 June 2019 saw the 22nd Employers’ Speed Dating take place at Etc Venues in Eastcheap!

So who came along?

Jamie of Red Personnel/Pertemps back again with Abe who was on the 20th programme of Growing Talent to seek out new talent.

We had over 45 applicants attend the event and seven employers. Unfortunately Ballymore couldn’t attend due to sickness. With groups of 6-8 applicants it’s time for a change!

After listening to feedback – we will no longer be using ice breakers. Instead – mutual summary profiles will be switched! Those who ramble and over talk due to nerves will be restrained (verbally – not literally!) to enable everyone to receive equal exposure.

As always, a big thank you to Jacquie, Anna & Sam from JobCentre Plus South London and Shennell – who returns year-on-year to support those following her (Shennell was on Growing Talent 6!)
