No 11

What a rollercoster couple of weeks it’s been for Amy, Ann, Anna, Chris, Halgan, Sara, Reychelle, Liliana & Julian the new Growing Talent 11 Associates – seen above with Graduates from previous programmes – Mehmet, Michael, Emma & Rehana.

Last week they had 1-2-1 meetings with me followed by speed dating with the employers and then a return visit once shortlisted by the employers!

This week saw the Orientation Week commence at Southwark Cathedral.  Each day kicked off with a breakfast of healthy smoothy, pastries or muffins and fruit.

Lunch was a lovely selection of mains, grains and salads followed by cake!

Ann, Sara and Julian working on a task together.  Ann travelled down from Birmingham where she’s joining MitieTDM at PwC to complete the Orientation Week.  Sara is joining ME Hotels at their Strand location as a ME4U Agent.  Julian’s perseverence paid off.  He applied to Growing Talent 10 and got through to the employers’ final selection but no role was identified for him.  Did that put him off?  Course not!  He applied again and is now joining MitieTDM on PwC at Embankment Place on Monday.

Chris – going to Holiday Inn – working with Liliana – joining ME Hotels Strand and Amy – joining Melia White House in Regents Park designing their nightmare employee!

Halgan – Holiday Inn, Anna – Melia White House & Reychelle Baxter Storey had the task of thinking from both and employer’s and Associate’s how to get the most out of Growing Talent.

Some friends dropped by to encourage and support the Associates – Rehana enjoying her promotion at Portico sharing a cuppa and some advice with Julian………….
