Sara – a year on………….

On joining Growing Talent 11 at the end of September 2016, Sara had no idea of the type of career she wanted.  She always had a flair for creativity and an eye for design.  It’s so difficult knowing what job will give you the criteria you enjoy when you have little employment experience.  What is proven are the opportunities which can arise to move to different departments once employed.

Sara has an infectious positive outlook and enthusiasm about everything.  Her flexibility in trying new things and being willing to multi-task has seen her thrive in work.

Hugely empathetic toward those around her, Sara had a natural presence for selection by ME London – a Spanish chain of international hotels.  Seen in the centre below with Ann and Julian – peers on the programme during the Orientation Week before going on site.

Bilingual in Spanish, Sara’s skills were a great match to the hotel’s international guests.

The end of the Orientation Week ended with presentations for social enterprise ideas – Sara below delivering her idea….. at least there were only four judges!

Joining ME as ME 4U Agent – a sort of front of house welcome host.  Working 5 out of seven days and all shifts!  Sara loved the glamour of the hotel but always had a desire for creative/marketing.

An update from her in October 2017 told of the journey she’s been on since Growing Talent.  She’s still with ME London but is now representing them on social media – hence the feature photo and the one below – hope she got to open that bubbly!!!
