The Principal Hotel & Growing Talent 18…..

The amazing light feature above was the first thing that caught my eye on visiting The Principal London for the first time today and set the bar for the opulence and attention to detail that sets the hotel apart from contemporaries.

I first met Charlie and Amy from the recruitment team months before The Principal opened.  Delays in opening were always inevitable due to the listed building status as well as the bespoke fittings – many original features.

I was blown away by the finished product.  Even though there are well over 300 rooms, bars, meeting/event facilities the atmosphere felt very personal.  All the staff I met clearly cared about their job and the service they are giving.

So on with the photos!!!!

Below is the living area of one of the corner suites.  It’s like a high-end flat with raised bath, marble and gold fixtures and fittings yet didn’t feel intimidating…..

The mosaic design below in one of the walk through areas, showcase the craftsmanship  beautifully restored and leading in to what will be a stunning Afternoon Tea area in the Palm Court….

Still undergoing renovation, the plan below gives a flavour of the planned feature…. Lots of light, green plants, comfy seating – an apt setting for afternoon teas
