The story so far…..Growing Talent 42

Following yesterday’s ‘Slow Dating’ event – also boringly known as the employers’ first stage selection, I received some feedback from those involved:

“The conversations today have reinforced my enthusiasm to return to work with any of these employers!”

“Because of Growing Talent’s programme – I’ve made new friends”

“I just wanted to say “Thank you” for the slow dating event this morning. I found it really interesting, and it was great to see so many come out of their shells and ask questions. The course is making changes to people already! By the way, I liked your boots!”

For the record I wear DMs pretty much always – so comfy. The pair I had on yesterday, made me smile the minute I saw them – covered in yellow smiling emojis 😊

What about the employers?

“What a great event! We’ll definitely be back”

“I was told by an applicant, the difference it made to him after so long out of work to come and speak to employers again meant so much to him. He thanked me for attending! Such a great initiative.”
