What a day!

Weeks of planning with #employers#funders#JobCentrePlus, #SouthwarkCareLeavers the 31st Employers Speed Dating selection took place in London yesterday.

Some hugely talented, currently unemployed people, joined us in London Bridge for an interactive getting to know you session!

2nd stage employer selections start tomorrow and run for the rest of the week. Check back to see how the guys get on….. Meanwhile….

A massive thank you to our employers this time:

Sharon Sales and Ricky from Restore plc – longtime supporters of Growing Talent who have employed close to 40 people through the programme over the years.  Sharon Sales did her usual, getting on the phone and securing yet another potential opportunity for a candidate pushing Directors’ diaries to fit Growing Talent timetable! There is so much hidden talent amongst the unemployed!

Lauren & Paul from Honeywell – who took part in the pilot of Growing Talent – they had trouble narrowing their shortlist down!

Kat & Nikki from Portico & BaxterStorey part of the #WSHGroup – who spotted two potential applicants for direct employment.

Pedro Tsiamas FREC dip RP – who has supported Growing Talent from the beginning giving awesome opportunities to each programme. Just to say two of his key earners came via Growing Talent!!!! Go Marta and Imran!

Lastly – huge thanks to #JasonGoddard of ISS Facility Services UK who took part for the first time to see if there were any participants for his opportunities across his global financial services client account at London Bridge – of course there were.
