Programme 1 – Growing Talent 36 Birmingham – cancelled due to local issues beyond Growing Talent’s control.

To take part, please send an email to jane@thejjc.net registering your interest and stating the area of Birmingham you live in and the JobCentre Plus office you come under during the application period 1 February to 5pm on 16 February 2024.

26 February 2024 – information session for interested applicants – Birmingham Library
29 February 2024 – employer speed dating event – 1st stage selection

1 to 7 March 2024 – 1-2-1 meetings with employers for any shortlisted applicants – final selection stage
11 to 15 March 2024 – Orientation/Holistic week Birmingham City Centre
18 March 2024 – earliest four week paid mutual test drive with employer begins*

Programme 2 – Growing Talent 37 London

28 May 2024 – Information session for applicants

30 May 2024 – employer speed dating event – 1st stage selection

31 May to 6 June 2024 – 1-2-1 meetings with employers for any shortlisted applicants – final selection stage.

10 June 2024 – Orientation/Holistic week commences

17 June 2024 – earliest four week mutual test drive with employers begins*

*Note the start date of the mutual paid test drive with the employer depends on completion of their vetting process and your ability to provide all Right to Work documents and Trackable History – where you have lived, worked and any dates of unemployment at all 1-2-1 meetings you are invited to attend .

The standard four week duration can be extended, by agreement, depending on technical aspects of the role and personal performance.

Participation is neither automatic nor mandatory.

Growing Talent will only run when employers have jobs available. We reserve the right to cancel any programmes at any time.
