Any role they can train in is the short answer! Examples of roles PREVIOUSLY filled include: Front of House, Warehouse, Hospitality, Project Manager, Mail, Reprographics, Distribution, Corporate Security, Hospitality, Recruitment and Administration.

To avoid disappointment, please ensure you have your Right To Work documents in place BEFORE you apply. This will help you meet employers’ vetting procedures.

Growing Talent 37 London

Confirmed dates:

6 – 22 May inclusive – Open for interested applicants to register their interest. Send an email requesting details of the event on 28 May. This e-mail should contain your name, local JobCentre Plus office you come under and work coach’s name – if you know it.

28 May 2024 – In-person Information session for interested applicants who have registered their interest before 22 May – this will be held in London.

30 May 2024 – employer speed dating event – 1st stage selection – London Bridge

31 May to 6 June 2024 – 1-2-1 meetings with employers for any shortlisted applicants – final selection stage.

10 June 2024 – Orientation/Holistic week commences

17 June 2024 – earliest four week mutual test drive with employers begins*

*Note the start date of the mutual paid test drive with the employer depends on completion of their vetting process and your ability to provide all Right to Work details and any other information they require to confirm your trackable history.

The standard four week duration of the mutual evaluation period with the employer can be extended, by agreement, depending on technical aspects of the role and personal performance.

Participation is neither automatic nor mandatory.

Growing Talent will only run when employers have jobs available. We reserve the right to cancel any programmes at any time.
