Growing Talent 8 Information Session

Embankment Place was the venue for today’s Growing Talent 8 information session.  With JobCentre Plus senior managers from all London and home countries districts present – as well as a couple of employers and amazing Growing Talent Graduates.

A couple of managers from JobCentre Plus had spent over two hours on a train from deepest Kent!  Both said the programme was great and agreed it was worth the trip.  They are even thinking about some employers they can engage!

We kicked of with a presentation showing the criteria for participation and referral process.  By kind permission of Sharon and the team at Harrow Green we showed their film showcasing Shanika, Jose, Maxine, Samik and James talking about their journey.

Mehmet of MitieTDM, William of Harrow Green and Camilla of Portico then took the floor and stole the show!  Amazing professionalism.

The room was buzzing with inspiration!  Anna from the London district team at JobCentre Plus then took the floor to explain the process in greater detail from a JobCentre Plus point of view.

Great feedback from all who attended including a new employer who has great ideas on growing the programme through his contacts…….  On leaving EP I had the famous Growing Talent hug with Shennel and Jordan………… #

A great morning full of inspiration and possibilities……… Pretty much my standard day working on Growing Talent!
