What does the difference mean for you?

It is true to say Growing Talent is an employment progamme. After all, everyone who completes goes into permanent employment but it has a difference.

In fact - two big differences...

Guaranteed role

The first: Our unique process lets you and employers connect before selection, boosting your confidence. If you’re offered and accept a role, you’ll start a permanent job with full training. In the first weeks, you’ll keep support from your referring agency, a Growing Talent mentor, retain your benefits, have travel covered, and be paid by the employer.

Holistic Vibe

The second: a strong focus on holistic elements including basic personal finance tips, fitness, nutrition on a budget and wellbeing. The workshops delivered meet many aspects of ISO45003 international standards for psychological workplace safety and are CPD certified.

As part of Growing Talent, the global i-act Managing and Promoting Mental Health and Wellbeing accredited proactive course will also be delivered. This gives you a real qualification which lasts for three years.

Robust manuals for each part of Growing Talent ensure onward learning long after Growing Talent has ended.

What is the process?

1. Apply to join the virtual info session.

2. If you like what you discover in the virtual info session, join the Getting to know you stage.

Here you meet all employers and get to know them before the selection stage.

3. Employers'
Selection

2 stages. 1st-Slow Dating. 2nd employer 1-2-1s. Note RTW documents must be shown at this stage to go forward.

4. Orientation and Holistic Week CPD certified

Confidence building tasks, challenges and workshops on workplace and life skills before going on your new employer's site. Aligned with ISO45003.

5. Join your new employer and team on site once their vetting is complete.

Retain support from your referring agency and Growing Talent mentor as you grow into your role in the initial weeks.

6. Zero financial impact on you

You retain your benefits, have travel paid for all stages of the Growing Talent process.
