Growing Talent’s Gentle Giant

That’s right – Alenchenu! He’s joined the Rapid Response team with Mitie at PwC’s Embankment Place offices.  Amongst the five strong team is David from Growing Talent 3 seen below at his completion ceremony receiving his certificate of completion from Jon Barnes!

Alenchenu met me at the Service Solutions Desk – where I spotted Lys – usually with the solutions team at Hays Galleria!  So many friendly faces. Moving to the restaurant, Alenchenu shared the duties he has done so far and how different it is to his previous experience of supporting offenders. No bars for a start!

A passionate computer ‘geek’ Alenchenu is interested in organisation’s IT security and ultimately wants a career in robotic technology used in prosthetics, an admirable career direction which Alenchenu plans to pursue at evening college.

Working with the Rapid Response team supervised by Steve and Pauline, Alenchenu has learnt the policies relating to security in receiving and delivering high tech/valuable goods and is enjoying the social and routine aspects of ‘going to work’.  With plans to support the wider team to enable him to add value to the site and client, the future is looking very bright for Alenchenu.
